When you buy a RIMAAD print or artwork, a portion of the profits goes to support Tasmanian Wild Baby Rescue, a private, all volunteer, non-profit rehabilitation sanctuary for native birds, directed by Sylvie McClay.
Spring is the busiest time for Tasmanian Wild Baby Rescue (TWBR) when tiny nestlings, branchers and juveniles arrive from many sources. During the rest of the year, most of their patients are birds that have suffered a range of injuries. Some birds will be in care for over 6 weeks to ensure the best outcome for the bird. No native species are provided for captivity or display and only those who can effectively support themselves are released into their native habitats.

Sylvie McClay, the founder of TWBR, is an exceptional watercolour artist and wildlife specialist, knowledgeable and passionate about all wildlife. She is a fabulous mentor and educator for those seeking knowledge about Australian and Tasmanian wildlife. She works tirelessly and compassionately within her community, and she has our deepest respect for all that she does.
RIMAAD is pleased to present Sylvie's collection of limited edition prints of unique Tasmanian bird life. New artworks are often forthcoming and she is available for commissions.
