When you buy a RIMAAD print or artwork, a portion of the proceeds goes to support Tasmanian Wild Baby Rescue.
Tasmanian Wild Baby Rescue is a private rehabilitation sanctuary for native birds.
Spring is their busiest time when tiny nestlings, branchers and juveniles arrive from many sources. During the rest of the year most of their patients are birds that have suffered a range of injuries, from concussion from window strikes or vehicle impact to missing feathers, bite wounds and broken bones. Some birds will be in care for over 6 weeks to ensure no disability remains and every case is evaluated with regular veterinary consultation to ensure the best outcome for the bird.
No native species are provided for captivity or display and only those who can support themselves effectively will be released.
You can follow the birds on Facebook at Tasmanian Wild Baby Rescue
