Superb Fairy Wren

I often choose to release hand-reared Superb Fairy Wrens into a Teatree thicket. This habitat provides excellent shelter and fast-moving tiny insects to engage their feeding instincts. This chick is quite fluffy. I have engraved the original with a pen nib (step 3 in my process) and used a tiny paintbrush with only a few bristles to achieve the soft effect.
