Tawny Frogmouth

Painting a bird’s feathers can be a repetitive process with little variation to pique an artist’s creative interest. I try to select an interesting feature that I can develop slowly, returning intermittently between the layers to ‘reward myself’!  In this case, the juvenile Tawny Frogmouth's wonderful eye was an obvious choice!

Professional photography is used for all images of these artworks and all are printed on Hahnemuhle (315gsm) Museum grade archival paper.

Free domestic shipping in Australia is included for Sylvie's Limited-Edition Prints. Each print is packaged and shipped from the RIMAAD studio, in Palm Cove, Queensland.
