This document sets out the Terms and Conditions you need to be aware of when using this website. Please take a moment to read them, as they set out your important rights and obligations and “we” care and “RIMAAD” cares about making sure that we both know where we stand. When you visit this website, or purchase our products you agree that you are over the age of 18 and willing to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you don’t accept this agreement, you should not continue to visit this website or purchase from us.

Please be advised that, all products and services advertised on this website are offered in compliance with Australian Consumer Law.

Contact Information

Please note: Due to the nature of working within a studio, and spending a lot of time being messy, the mornings from 9am - 12.30pm are the time of  day where all business-related communication and correspondence. This includes getting artworks, and products packaged and ready for shipping, intrastate/interstate and internationally. And, afternoons are spent working in the studio. We will always make every effort to reach out to you in a timely manner.

On this website you will find “text, images of artwork, product photography,” and “images of artwork in different interiors”. You will also find text, and photography within our newsletter, blog and/or social media posts. This information is provided for illustration purposes only, and to help you picture either original works of art or limited-edition prints in different interiors, showing you the possibilities available when purchasing these products. This is also the case for our collection of scarves, or art-based gifts. We make every effort to ensure products supplied correspond as closely as possible to photos displayed on this website. All artworks displayed, whether Originals or Limited-Edition Prints, wearables or art-based gifts are all professionally photographed. Variations in colour and patterns may vary depending upon depending on the computer and browser you use. We do not take responsibility for these variations. Which, are inherent in the viewing of original artworks online.

All information on this site, is provided in good faith, and we believe in building respectful relationships with our customers and clients. After well over a decade of providing artworks and art-based products to individuals and families, we know and rely upon respectful and honest communication at all times. We take great care and are extremely diligent in providing information on each piece of artwork, limited-edition prints, and specific products and/or wearables. But, we cannot be responsible for the use that you make of that information. All testimonials displayed on this website are based on the experience of previous customers and clients where they chose to commission artwork, purchase artworks, either originals, or limited-edition fine art prints, or products and many are often returning customers. All content on this site, is our own. Please note, that we reserve the right to modify the information on this website at any time, including altering or deleting it without notice.

Art, including all art-based products is an inherently personal choice. Please choose wisely; we do not offer refunds for change of mind. We do offer refunds, or returns on purchases where the product is damaged or lost during shipment.

RIMAAD provides the following products. Original Artwork, Limited-Edition Prints, art-based gifts and wearables. All original artworks are produced using professional art-based supplies. All original artwork is packaged and shipped from our Palm Cove Studio. Great care is always taken within the packaging and shipment process, so that each work arrives safely to its new home. All art-based gifts and wearables are ethically sourced and produced, and our products are handmade. Our featured artists have many decades practice in producing their art across differing media. We are all unique, and professional in our endeavours. Importantly, all artists work as independent artists in their own endeavours, and work collaboratively with RIMAAD. That is the nature of being working artists, including preparing for and curating exhibitions, travelling within Australia, and also Internationally.

Our Responsibility

Product descriptions and anything that is important for you to know is offered in writing, and clearly displayed on this website. Please read carefully before placing your order.

Your Responsibility

When hanging original artworks, or placing limited-edition prints into frames, we ask that you please do so in a careful and safe manner, so that you are not at risk of harm, or injury. In terms of purchasing wearable art, we ask that you read all instructions for the care and use of the product. Importantly, for all artwork, measure first, and place your order after measuring.

Australian Consumer Law

All goods purchased from RIMAAD are covered by Australian Consumer Law. All products are guaranteed to be suitable for the purpose purchased. If a product is unsafe, breaks under normal use, or has a defect you are entitled to a refund up to 3 months. If a product arrives damaged, please advise us within 14 days for a refund or a replacement. Please photograph the damaged packaging and invoice/receipt to ensure your replacement or refund. If you ever have any concerns, please email us within 7 days at info@rimaad.com.

Intellectual Property

All content on this website is protected by copyright. No portion of this website may be copied or replicated in any form without the written consent of the website owner, other than for personal, non-commercial use only. The content may not be sold, copied without written permission, however, people can share freely on social media, so long as they link back to the RIMAAD website.


The business name “RIMAAD”, and “Rachel Ireland Meyers Art and design” are both synonymous with our brand. The name “RIMAAD”, and our logo is privately owned and is a registered trademark. You may not use these marks for any purpose without express permission.

Payment Terms

FORMS OF PAYMENT: We take website security extremely seriously, and your information will be stored securely, and will not be provided to third parties other than for purchasing purposes, or shipping. All payments on this website are hosted by Shopify Inc. Data on the Shopify platform, is encrypted and stored through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard. Your Data is stored only so long as necessary to complete your purchase. After that, your purchase transaction information is deleted. Please note; we take all precautions to keep your details secure. However, we cannot be held liable for any loss caused by the unauthorized access to your information, which lies beyond our control. If you have any concerns about online payments, please feel free to send us an email at: info@rimaad.com and, we can find an agreeable alternative that will suit both parties.

Shipping & Delivery

Limited-Edition Prints & Wearables

Our courier for Limited-Edition Prints, and wearables is Auspost. Tracking Number/s will be supplied. Please make sure, your contact information at the time of purchase and check out, includes correct shipping address, email and phone numbers at all times. All of our products are prepared and carefully packaged by hand in our Palm Cove Studio, in Far North Queensland. All A3 sized prints come in a flat-pack mailer, and protective envelope. All large prints (typically A2/A1) are wrapped protectively in 9cm diameter mailing tubes.

There is a small shipping cost for all limited-edition prints, art-based gifts and wearable products within Australia. This charge will be applied at checkout. 

Original Artworks

Each painting is packaged and shipped from our Palm Cove Studio, in Far North Queensland. Domestic shipping in Australia is included for original artworks. Tracking Number/s will be supplied. Please make sure, your contact information at the time of purchase and check out, includes correct shipping address, email and phone numbers at all times. 

All Original Artworks purchased on the website, include free shipping within Australia. 

International Shipping

Please note, an additional invoice and fee will apply to shipping all original artworks outside Australia. Insurance is recommended for your peace of mind and this can be organised for you. Please contact us at info@rimaad.com for all inquiries.

Shipping Information

All original artworks, where applicable are packaged and organised by us, and shipped with the help of Total Freight Solutions (http://totalfreightsolutions.com.au/). After many years of using their excellent services for shipping artwork throughout Australia and also Internationally, we know and trust their knowledge and logistical experience. Their dedication and customer support are simply the very best.

Delivery of Products

Standard delivery times are applicable for Limited-Edition prints, art-based gifts and wearables, when purchasing through our website. In most cases, please allow 3 - 7 business days for delivery. Please note: we like to ensure that your purchases come to you in excellent order at all times. All packaging of artwork, whether it be “Original Artwork or Limited-Edition” prints takes time, and we take no shortcuts during this process. If there is a delay, we will always contact you directly if an extra day or two is needed before shipping can take place.

Consumer Guarantees

Change of Mind

We want you to be 100% happy with your purchases from RIMAAD. However, we are a unique art-based business, so there are reasonable boundaries around this. Due to the nature of the work we do as working artists, and the nature of our offerings with regard to both Original Artworks, and Signed (Limited-Edition Prints), we do not offer refunds for change of mind. As previously stated, please choose carefully.

Minor Problem

Minor issues can arise when making purchases online. If you do have any problem, or question regarding any purchase you have made, let us know asap at: info@rimaad.com. We will always do everything possible to make your customer journey with us enjoyable, and we have always found that good communication assists both sides, where any issue may arise. Although we take every precaution so that your purchase arrives safe and well, we do know that damage or loss can occur during the shipping process. In such instances, we will always do our very best to send you a replacement of the product that you purchased. Things can and do occur, some of which are beyond our immediate control. A Major Problem

A major problem is considered to be one where a product that you have purchased cannot be fixed, or is too difficult to fix. Despite never having had an issue over 10 + years of packaging and shipping paintings, there is always the chance that a painting could be destroyed during the shipping process. One of the ways in which we mitigate that possibility is to know and trust our shipping company, Total Transport Solutions (http://totalfreightsolutions.com.au/). This is a door to door service in Australia, provided with care, and integrity. In this instance, if we do not have a suitable replacement, or an alternative artwork that you like, a refund will be given.

Specific Terms of Sale

All artworks, are carefully packaged and handled in our Palm Cove Studio, Far North Queensland. Each package leaves our studio in excellent condition. Extra layers of protection are part of our process, and it is this attention to detail, that has always ensured our artwork arrives at their new homes safely. Where applicable, and in particular for artwork being shipped internationally, we always suggest adding insurance for your peace of mind. For queries on this matter, please email us at: info@rimaad.com. Please note, insurance comes at an extra cost to you, but we can arrange that for you. We, will not take responsibility for any deliberate misuse, accident or damage caused to original artworks under any set of circumstances.

It is not possible to leave your comments on my blog due to the issue and difficulty of spam bots. But, that doesn't mean that we don't want to hear from you!!! However, we still reserve the right to moderate any comments made on any of our social media channels, including deleting comments that are deemed to be rude, offensive, spammy or unacceptable without any notification or correspondence with you.

Jurisdiction and Disputes

If you have a problem, please contact us and we will discuss it with you. If we can’t reach an agreement, I may suggest bringing in a neutral third party (a mediator) to help us find a solution. If we still can’t work it out, any disputes or arguments arising under this agreement are to be dealt with under the law of Queensland, Australia.
