The Eurasian Eagle Owl has a wingspan of over 188 cm (just over 6 ft). I was drawn to painting this Owl, simply because of its gorgeous ears, being a point of difference. Over time, he became “Igor,” with looks and a persona of his own. He is included here, as a symbol of cherishing the differences that exist in the natural world, and among all species, including humans.
